ideal location for weekend city strolls and park visits

I stayed here for one night and absolutely loved the easy access to Pickmere Lake, which is just a short walk away, and the Knutsford Heritage Centre, perfect for a leisurely afternoon exploration despite the somewhat basic accommodations, but a little less variety in the dining options would be great.

I had an amazing two nights here with exceptionally tasty meals, including the best steak & ale pie ever! The breakfast was freshly cooked, and the atmosphere was lovely and welcoming.

Had an awesome stay with friends! We loved exploring the beautiful area and visiting a few nearby attractions. The large beer garden was perfect for relaxing, and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Definitely a place to unwind and enjoy with friends!

My room was a bit noisy in the evening, but it didn't ruin our experience at all.

I stayed in the Double Room with a four-poster bed. It was super cozy and felt spacious. Very traditional vibe! The room was clean, and the bathroom had good showers. Just wish there was a bit more air circulation as it got a little stuffy. a nice and comfy spot to rest after a long day!

Spacious room, delicious breakfast, with the large walk-in shower and excellent hot breakfast cooked to order that included a delightful smoked haddock omelette.

The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The evening meal, particularly the steak, was a highlight, prepared with care and tastefully presented. The room was immaculate, decoratively pleasing, and offered a restful atmosphere. noise from the nearby road was noticeable at times, which slightly detracted from the overall experience.

Had a lovely stay at the Golden Pheasant. The room felt spacious. Staff served friendly service throughout. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast. it hit the spot. Dinner options had a local microbrewery ale selection, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy and welcoming. A real highlight was the beautiful outdoor seating areas for relaxing after a day out. Unfortunately, the noise levels from the pub were disruptive at night, making it hard to get a good sleep. The room could use some updating to feel more modern and comfortable but was still functional. The shower was decent, though the hot water took a while to come through. Easy to get around the countryside from here, but the nearby taxi service was limited, which might be an inconvenience if you need to travel.

The Golden Pheasant has got a lovely vibe, with a proper cozy bar to sink into a pint and freshly made sandwiches that are downright epic! Plus, the staff were really helpful when my partner’s car broke down—talk about going the extra mile! Breakfast was delicious, too, setting us up for the day.

I had an enjoyable stay in a stylish and clean Twin or Double Room. The breakfasts were fantastic, offering a wide variety of options, and the staff provided exceptional service, making me feel very welcome. The location was ideal for visiting the surrounding countryside.

Had a fab time! The staff were super friendly and really made me feel at home. My double room was updated but kept that nice period charm. The food? Top-notch and fairly priced! loved the local ales available in the bar. Only thing was, the Wi-Fi was a bit patchy at times.
